Congratulations! You are respectfully invited to DMK’s Paramedical Training!
I always love the 2-days of hands-on DMK Paramedical training because it is so interactive with practical application on models and also by experiencing the treatments for yourself. This course will now allow you to treat so many different advanced skin conditions in your practice with expertise.
As stated above, each of you will be required to experience a DMK paramedical treatment, so please thoroughly read the following information and review the details of each of the DMK chem peels (Lunchtime Peel, Pro Alpha Peel, RP Facial or RP Peel) and the variety of treatment options via Alkaline Wash. You will need to have healthy, strong tissue to ensure safe and effective paramedical treatments. With that said, please be sure you have prepared your skin with 5-6 DMK enzymes and consistently every two weeks, using DMK’s full home prescriptive regimen and taking DMK EFA’s morning and night prior to even coming to this class. Once you have determined which paramedical treatment you like to experience, please text me so we can schedule a call to go over your prep and the list of products you will need to order. Please do this sooner than later so you are able to order the pre and post products needed for you from OrderDMK.com. You will need to start using the prep products at least 10-14 days prior to class with alternating between Super Bright and Revitosin nightly (Night 1: cleanse, Super Bright; Night 2: cleanse, Revitosin; repeat for 14 days) and taking at least 2 EFA’s in the morning AND at night. It is recommended that you use new bottles of Super Bright and Revitosin and use each product very liberally – so much so that the new bottles should be empty by the time you get to class. If you have any irritation from use of either of the products, you may incorporate Beta Gel prior to applying Revitosin and/or Super Bright. Please also plan to bring any of the post care products such as Milk Cleanser, Beta Gel, Herb & Mineral Mist, Contraderm. I highly recommend if you are going to get a chem peel that you drive to class so you can control your environment/temperature and bring at least 2 strapless tops so we can treat your face/neck/chest, you won’t get product on a regular shirt, and, more importantly, your skin won’t be subject to any friction from your shirt.
If you opt out of receiving a DMK chem peel then you can plan for Alkaline Wash somewhere on the body for skin revision, hair removal or a Medi Pedi. If all of you come very hairy then we can do a lot of hands-on Alkaline hair removal. Going through the process for yourself is MORE than half of the training! I can’t stress how important it is to experience the treatments before bringing it into your clinic and applying it to a client. Remember, you are representing your clinic and DMK so let’s provide you with the best opportunity to showcase DMK Paramedical by having your skin be your proverbial business card! Please complete the following modules on mydmk.org if they are still free of charge. We will cover all the material in class, but these resources may help you determine what paramedical treatment you may want to experience in class.

Brief descriptions of each paramedical treatment:
ALKALINE WASH: DMK’s Alkaline Wash Treatment can be used for skin revision, hair removal and a foot treatment called MediPedi. Alkaline Wash skin revision is an unusual and exclusive method of resolving a wide variety of skin conditions, delivering excellent results in rapid time. I The treatment is extremely versatile with a wide margin of flexibility regarding its application and use. An advanced skin technician can become very creative in applying Alkaline Wash to treat the most difficult, stubborn skin conditions, delivering amazing results in record time.
DMK Alkaline Wash Works For:
• Deep wrinkles and lines
• Pigmentation spots
• Stretch marks
• Sun damage
• Hardened skin and callouses on the feet
• Removing any rough, calloused areas such as the knees, elbows, feet, etc.
• Hair removal on any part of the body & excess facial hair
• Remove embedded and congested hair follicles such as in folliculitis cases & razor bumps
DMK’s Alkaline Wash is a proprietary formula that takes the pH of the skin from 5.6 to a pH of 12 in under three minutes. This action completely softens or desquamates the skin cells. This dissolving action works on scar tissue, facial hair, razor bumps, acne on face or body, and any unwanted hair on any part of the body (except the genitals or inner buttocks) without the use of harmful acids. Alkaline swells, softens and dissolves skin whereas an acid hardens it, causing skin cells to pop off. This unique formula does not discriminate as to what kind of dead protein is dissolved so it will dissolve hair as well. This makes it very effective for the removal of unwanted hair on the body or face. This method is highly effective for the treatment of dark spot pigmentation problems. By alkalizing the spot first, it allows the DMK melanin inhibitors and skin lightening products to work much faster than any other method using acids. Alkaline Wash is a highly effective and versatile skin revision method that delivers radical results in a very short time. Many users have found Alkaline Wash to be a superior tool when treating difficult conditions such as pigmentation, acne, resurfacing scar removal and stretch marks. In-clinic Application & Use: To achieve the desired results, Alkaline Wash is used in conjunction with a variety of other DMK Professional Products and a course of DMK Home Prescriptives. It is also combined with other DMK Professional Treatments for optimal results. Alkaline Wash is available only as a professional in-clinic treatment in the hands of a highly skilled therapist who has received advanced DMK training and the necessary practice.
MediPedi™: The Natural Pedicure is a totally non-invasive pedicure treatment that does not require the use of acids, harsh chemicals and other solvents nor does it rely upon heavy rasping, cutting or other mechanical methods of removing the build-up of hardened, dead skin.

PRO ALPHA PEEL: A non-invasive resurfacing peel procedure for those wanting to reveal a younger complexion in less than 10 days. For those who want to revise signs of ageing significantly and quickly, but do not want to commit to invasive surgery or treatments, Pro Alpha Peel is ideal. An aesthetic approach to skin restoration, this peel restores the skin back to optimal health, encouraging it to perform like it did when it was young. The strength of the formulation is tailored by your therapist to suit your skin color, texture, sensitivity and condition. In just 10 days old, damaged skin tightens, lifts and peels away to reveal younger-looking, smoother, optimally functioning skin. Great for Sun Damage, Fine Lines, Large Pores, Thickened Coarse Skin, Uneven Skin Condition, Congestion Skin. Pre-requisite: 5-6 enzyme treatments with home prescriptive usage; 14 nights of preparation with liberal application of Revitosin then alternating with Super Bright; diligent use of 2 EFA’s in both the morning and nighttime. Two days off application followed by required enzyme treatments (Lift Offs) on day 5 and day 10 post peel. Peel schedule will be further detailed in class.
RP CHEM PEEL: This intensive peel is ideal for skin affected by acne, pigmentation, aging, sun damage, scarring, and stretch marks, as it peels away the old skin and restructures the new skin from deep within. RP is designed to remodel/rebuild the architecture of the skin and revise dysfunctional processes that have developed as a result of aging and sun damage. Reconstructing and returning the skin to its original functioning condition, RP does more than just revise signs of aging. Peels away dead, redundant skin while it works to help rebuild stronger, healthier functioning skin cells to revise the condition’s cause. Any area of the body can be treated and will resolve fine lines, loose sagging skin, age spots (pigmentation) and scarring. Results continue to improve the skin for up to 6 months. Pre-requisite: 5-6 enzyme treatments with home prescriptive usage; 14 nights of preparation with liberal application of Revitosin then alternating with Super Bright; diligent use of 2 EFA’s in both the morning and nighttime. Clients taking more than 3 prescriptions especially for psychiatric health or opioids, or clients with high levels of mental stress, or clients who suffer from reoccurring cold sores, should be advised with the highest precautions against receiving this treatment due to its intensity. Two days off application followed by required enzyme treatments (Lift Offs) on day 5 and day 10 post peel. Peel schedule will be further detailed in class.
TRAINING CLASS LOCATION: The DMK Paramedical training class will be held at the lovely Sage Healing Collective located at 525 S Tyler Rd. Suite S, St. Charles, IL 60174. The classroom is located upstairs. Class starts promptly at 10 am CST so please try to get to the training location at about 9:45 am CST so you can get settled in prior to start.
PARKING: You may park in the parking lot directly outside or surrounding the training location.
DRESS COMFORTABLY: We will be in classroom style for a good majority of the time but then we will be performing treatments on our models. Treatments can get messy until you become comfortable with working with the consistencies of each DMK product so make sure you do not wear clothing that you would be upset getting product on. Also, Chicago weather changes all the time so be sure check the forecasts and bring a sweater. My BIGGEST RECOMMENDATION is to bring something strapless if you are intending to get a chem peel.
LUNCH: I will be providing lunch on both days of training. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let me know or feel free to bring food with you. There is a mini refrigerator on premise. Please feel free to bring beverages and/or snacks.
