When applied to pigmented spots, it quickly permeates the skin with hydrophilic delivery, inhibiting and lightening melasma and hyper-pigmentation. - Apply drops directly to affected areas after cleansing.
- Follow with DMK oils, sprays, transepidermal creams, barrier support, and SPF.
FORMULA HIGHLIGHTS
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (Licorice) — Licorice is a cooling skin conditioner that calms irritation and redness. It is a natural extraction containing flavonoids that inhibit inflammation, lighten pigmentation, and counteract oxidative stress. Licorice also improves hydration, suppleness, and turgidity by preserving the skin’s hyaluronic acid content.
Halidrys Siliquosa Extract — A type of brown algae that suppresses hyperpigmentation. Halidrys Siliquosa protects the dermal matrix by inhibiting enzymes that break down elastin and collagen. It is also a potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and free radical scavenging extract with unique compounds that protect against UV damage. Kojic Acid — This chelation (binding) agent suppresses melanin production and brightens hyperpigmentation. Kojic acid inhibits tyrosinase. Over time, it evens skin tone by affecting melanocytes’ ability to transfer pigment to skin cells.
Morus Alba Bark Extract (White Mulberry) — A proven skin brightener and tone balancer, mulberry is typically combined with other ingredients to create a potent cocktail of skin-lightening agents. Mulberry inhibits tyrosinase and has several biocompatible compounds that are antioxidant, antimicrobial, soothing, free radical scavenging, and anti-inflammatory.
Aminoethylphosphinic Acid — A pigment lightener that works by blocking and preventing melanin formation. It is used with tyrosinase inhibitors and other pigment-reducing ingredients to boost effectiveness.
