Milk Cleanser is recommended for lipid-dry skin, postmenopausal skin, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, and other inflamed and hyper-reactive skin conditions. It may also be prescribed for travel and skin exposed to dry climates and seasonal weather changes.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
This is a standardized method for using this product. For best results, consult your DMK Certified Esthetician to ensure proper use and a regimen tailored to your skin revision needs.
- Mix a pea-sized amount of cleanser with water in your hand or a small bowl using your DMK fan brush.
- Gently massage into the skin to loosen makeup, oil, and debris from the surface. Concentrate on any areas of cuticle buildup to thoroughly cleanse and soften, avoiding the eyes.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry with a clean towel.
FORMULA HIGHLIGHTS
Glycine Soja Oil (Soybean) — Soybean oil contains antioxidants, linoleic acid, oleic acid, vitamin E, and vitamin K. This ingredient reduces TEWL, helps restore the skin barrier, nourishes the skin, is photoprotective, and neutralizes free radicals.
Organic Betula Alba Leaf Extract (Birch) — Birch is healing, astringent, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant. It stimulates metabolic activity when applied topically. This extract contains high concentrations of vitamins B1, B2, A, C, and E and has been used historically for its soothing and hydrating properties on eczema and psoriasis.
Oleic Acid — An omega-9 fatty acid that permeates the skin’s surface to replenish lost moisture while preventing TEWL. Oleic acid is an antioxidant-rich and anti- inflammatory oil that promotes wound healing and offsets free radical damage and oxidative stress. It also strengthens cell membranes, rebalances skin lipids, and soothes inflamed skin conditions.
Quercus Alba Bark Extract (Oak) — A densely rich botanical, oak bark is a cleansing, astringent, antiseptic, soothing, cooling, and vasoconstrictive ingredient. It contains OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanidins), antioxidants which protect against free radicals, and tannins, which act on surface proteins. Naturally occurring salicylic acid helps remove surface debris and cellular buildup.
Yucca Schidigera Extract —A natural anti-inflammatory herb that cleanses and improves the skin’s ability to expel cellular waste and environmental pollution.
